However, it is a bit ironic that a team which won the UEFA Cup, is currently ranked 14th place in the Russian Premier League. They tied teams such as Saturn Moscow, who is ranked 12th place in the Russian Premier League.

The Russian National Football Team has a chance of making it to the next stage of the Euro after thier 0-1 defeat over Greece yesterday. They are playing better defense and attacking the net more aggressively. Andre Arshavin is also coming back for their last game against Sweden.

The Russian National Team does not stand a chance advancing to the final of the Euro 2008. Even if they beat Sweden they have to face the Netherlands, a team which is much stronger and has better defence in order to advance in the competition.
